Senior Auditor
We are currently seeking an auditor with at least 5 years of recent public accounting experience to provide audit and attest services to a select group of clients. This position will work with other professionals in the department and the firm’s shareholders on audit related projects, including managing multiple audit and review engagements, ensuring engagements are performed in accordance with professional standards and the firm’s policies and procedures; maintaining proficiency in the use of electronic publications, paperless audit programs and auditing software; and supervising, mentoring, motivating and training Audit Seniors and Associates. You will assist in the development of team members by providing leadership, training, guidance and direction.· Prepare engagement plans and budgets.· Supervise and participate in field audit work.· Draft or review client financial statements.· Prepare management letters.· Produce and review work papers.· Work with and advise clients on accounting standards and procedures, with applicable shareholder oversight.· Schedule and supervise staff on engagements.· Motivate, train and develop audit staff and identify technical training and development needs.
