  • The Billing Analyst will work in providing support revenue cycle leadership under limited supervision.
  • Will develop, write, run and analyze billing reports for a large medical billing office.
  • Performs tasks such as error correction, reconciliations, data entry, standard report preparation, analysis and/or routine compliance activities.
  • Uses reporting tools to monitor revenue recognition and billing compliance.
  • Assists in conducting research and analysis, benchmarking, and audits to ensure reasonableness and accuracy of information along with identifying and implementing best practices and improvements.
  • Provides basic revenue and billing analytics to support department and institutional leadership.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in economics, mathematics, business administration, accounting, finance, healthcare business related fields or statistics preferred.
  • Prefer experience with Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports software
  • Demonstrated understanding of coding, billing and compliance practices.
  • Prefer knowledge of revenue recognition systems and practice billing systems.
  • Strong investigational skills, shows attention to detail, accuracy and ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • $50,000-$60,000/year depending on experience.
