Hi, my name is Corey mentor, and I am the president of Trinity employment specialists. And we are a staffing organization. We staff in three primary categories in the industrial field, in the medical field and also in just business and admin. And one of the things that I always want to try to do is to bring, uh, inspirational content to people that are looking for jobs or that are in their career. And it’s very difficult to navigate your career. And so I have, uh, I’ve several quotes that have come all the way from Confucius to like Steve jobs about, uh, people with, uh, in their careers and how they, they navigate it. And so I wanted to go over those things with you. I have a couple of friends just recently that reached out to me saying, listen, man, would you please meet with my child for their career with the best Tulsa Staffing?
Um, is there anything that you can do to offer for them? And when I meet with them, it’s almost every time, like they just don’t have any idea what they’re wanting to do. And everyone has a process of figuring that out for me, it took me about five years, but I’ve got some quotes here from some re just wisdom, uh, that can be very much related to your job. And so I use this general conventional advice with them. And so maybe there’s someone who’s young in their career. That’s really trying to figure out their pathway and what their journey is going to look like. And maybe this will help just bring some clarity. I think in the middle of a confusion and confusion comes when you’re really, it’s just not the right place. So, um, the first one is it’s from Confucius, um, and choose a job you love and you will never work a day in your life.
It’s very difficult. I teach a class. Yeah, it’s called your one degree. And the idea behind this, if you can think about it is there’s 360 degrees. Um, and we live in America. And so we get to go in any direction that we want in those 360 degrees. But the thing is, is this is a, this is a, um, a gift that every really high income earner has to learn. Okay, they’re not going to teach you any of this in school. I promise you, but you have to learn what this is. It’s the greatest asset that you can obtain as a businessman, as you know, uh, as a co-worker as a, you know, just as a general laborer. And that is to understand what your one degree is in that circle. So when you find out what your particular gift is like your particular design, God has given each one of us, a unique design with our top Tulsa Staffing.
And when you can figure out what that small little narrow window is, and you can figure out, well, you know, I’m not a detailed person in fact, but I’m a little bit more of a creative. And as you begin to chip away at this in truly learning what your design is, um, it, it will, it will really change you because then all of a sudden, when you work in your one degree, it’s easy, results just happen. And you get to where you feel like you’re not even working because you’re energized by doing that type of work. And so really it comes, if you go in and Google your one degree, you’re going to be able to find a criteria where it breaks down activities in reds greens and yellows, reds, many things that you really don’t enjoy at all. You can do them, but it’s a net negative.
You feel crummy whenever you get done with those things, yellows, which it doesn’t matter one way or another and greens, which is probably in your one degree, you’re really super energized. Whenever you do these things, um, understanding who you are, helps you to get to that place, where you actually find a job that you just you’re working in greens. Most of the day, go check out your one degree. It’ll help you to try to get to that place quicker so that you don’t have to go through five years of miserable pain. Like I did. Um, number two, it’s not what you achieve. It’s what you overcome. That’s what defines your career Carlton Fisk. One of the things that, um, is very, very frustrating in a journey to success. And most people, especially in this younger generation, I don’t think that anyone really properly told them with our amazing Tulsa Staffing services.
Um, and that is this, that, um, the biggest amount of wisdom is going to come through struggle. Um, you know, when you struggle, the knowledge that comes through is, is, uh, invaluable. Um, and when you can and when you can maintain yourself well, and then, uh, begin to appreciate the struggle in a little bit different way. Listen, you don’t have to like it struggles not, it’s not something that you should go, Oh, sweet. I’m, I’m in a struggle right now. However, if you’re not allowing yourself to go through a struggle, or if you get into a struggle and you just quit and you don’t allow yourself to get out of it, so you can learn from it it’s, um, it, it will be counterproductive. But what you will find is the struggle is what really gets you to a new level. And, um, and so I, I think it’s really important for people to understand that, that you go ask anyone with the best Tulsa Staffing around.
I mean, Steve jobs had his company yanked from him, uh, Henry Ford, you should go read his story. It was awful. What Disney had his first cartoon, a cartoon character taken from it doesn’t matter who you go and talk to that successful. There’s going to be this unbelievable struggle. And if you ask those guys about that struggle, they’re going to be like, listen, it would have had that not happened. It would never, I would never have learned to get here. So be okay with the struggle number three work to become, not to acquire. Um, I want to shift this a little bit. Um, and the guy that said that was Elbert Hubbard, um, one of the things that is opposite is when you, when you help other people get what they want first, before you go and try to get what you want. Um, Zig Ziglar said that if you’ll help enough people get what they want, you’ll never have a problem getting what you want.
I promise you, it’s completely different. If you’re an employee, let me tell you how to get what you want. You go find different areas in needs, needs of your owner or your boss, and you find a way to go and help them with those, with those problems. If you can go solve problems for your boss or your mentor or your, you know, or your owner, um, you are going to become valuable for them to them. And what they are going to do is if they’re a normal human being, they’re totally going to reciprocate that. Um, number five, I’ve missed more than 9,000 shots in my career as the best Tulsa Staffing by far. I’ve lost almost 300 games, 26 times. I’ve been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I’ve failed over and over and over again in my life. And that’s why succeed. Um, I wonder if you know who that is.
That’s, uh, Michael Jordan. And basically what he’s trying to tell people is one failure is not a bad thing. Um, and it’s a pathway to succeed. Um, if you’re willing to put yourself in that position and not quit, I was talking to one of my employees yesterday and she’s new and, uh, she made a mistake and I told her, listen, I, I, I appreciate that mistake. Thank you so much for making it. Um, I just need you to fail a little bit faster if that’s possible. Just, just go ahead and, and really, really give yourself permission for that, because Amber’s not my Mo my wife, that’s what we want you to do. And she’s like, what? You want me to fail fast? She was like, yeah, only if you learn from it, if you learn from it, that’s exactly what we want you to do, because that is what’s going to get you there faster. And so it’s people that restraint with proper Tulsa Staffing practices.
Themselves like, well, I might not want the ball in the recruiting world. Well, I might not want to go and take them. That top row, that top position, that’s a little bit more difficult.
