A player matchmakers or I’m always trying to find different ways to find value, to add value to job seekers and employers in the particular title of this podcast, our current employment statistics highlights. Um, right now we, the, the report that I’m going to be going over and just overviewing real quick is the report of may of 2020. So it’s India may in 2020 currently today, it’s the 17th of June. So this report has been out for roughly about 17 days now. And we, it’s probably already changing to be quite honest with you, the news coverage. I don’t know if that’s what you would call it anymore with our top Tulsa Medical Staffing solutions, because I think I’m in line with most of America where you don’t know what is news and what is, um, you know, uh, political, um, I guess like the thought of what they think politics should be, but it’s really weird and it doesn’t matter what side of the aisle you’re on it.

When you look at the news that is out there, it’s very difficult to find what’s really going on. So when those types of scenarios are out, I really like to just go and look at data. I think that data is the way that if you’re in a company and you own a company and things don’t feel right, quote, quote fuel, right? Um, one of the first things that you should do is go look at the data. The data will be able to show you the why’s or you’ll be, you should be able to understand it when it comes to the top Tulsa Medical Staffing around. Um, and then sometimes the data gets really complicated. And so, especially early on in owning Trinity, one of the things that, uh, we, I and my wife always used to say is we know that the answer is in this data somewhere. We just, we just don’t know exactly where it’s at.

And, um, and sometimes that is true. When you look at only data, you’re like, there’s an answer somewhere here. Um, I just don’t know exactly where, where it is. And I think that there are some answers in the data that is, that is out right now, but there are so many weird things that have happened because we, in 2020 we had the COVID thing happened. And then all of a sudden, um, last week, um, COVID ended as far as the news coverage was, uh, concerned, uh, for the past two weeks actually, uh, or two weeks previous to this week, uh, you didn’t even see anything about COVID and then we are, we had the riots. And so all you saw was riots. You didn’t see anything about COVID now COVID is back this week. And, um, it’s, it’s stronger than ever from the news coverage. Um, and so just trying to figure that out is, uh, is interesting and, and trying to figure out what is that going to do to employment?

You know, we’re a staffing firm and all staffing firms all over the place. I promise you, they’re looking at this going all right. What does this mean? Does this mean that all of our companies are going to shut down again? What, what does this mean? So while 2020 has been interesting, but the good news came in on June 5th, I think is when this report actually came out publicly, but it says non-farm payroll employment rose by 2.5 million in May. That was really unexpected from my standpoint because our numbers did not show that you need the best Tulsa Medical Staffing, um, we saw a little bit of an increase, um, from, uh, from, uh, February, March, and April, but we, we did not really see a huge increase like that. So it, and that was after dropping by staggering 22.1 million in March and in April combined says the may change reflects the limited resumption of the economic activity that has been curtailed in March and April due to the effects of coronavirus.

You know, one thing that’s really interesting. I had to go buy my wife a car because her car was having all sorts of weird little nagging issues. It was running, but it was really frustrating. And we went to go buy this new car and, you know, what they told us at every car lot that we went to, they said we have sold more cars than we’ve ever sold. And there’s none left on the lot because they’ve all been purchased. And because of COVID, they weren’t able to make any more. So we really had a difficult time trying to find a car. It turns out, in fact, we had to pick the worst time ever to go and need a car, and that stinks, but we did get a car, but this morning I was listening to the quote, quote news. I think they would be factual with a statistic. And they said that car sale rose by 40% in may, Holy cow. So we had 22.1 million people lose their jobs last week when it comes to our Tulsa Medical Staffing, or in May, I’m sorry, had 2.5 million of those 22 million get jobs back. So that’s roughly 10% and yet we’ve sold more of the second largest purchase anyone’s going to make. Generally, we sold more of those items in may add an increase of 40%.

There’s something going on here. Now I also, something is really interesting. We had, I have a good friend and they sell pergolas and pools. They have never been so busy. They had a 200% increase. So I think that this stimulus package at least worked for retail sales, um, but the average hourly earnings of all employees on private-sector payrolls fell by 29 cents or by 1% in may hourly earnings had risen by a dollar 35 in April. Over the year, hourly earnings have increased by 6.7% average, weekly hours Rose by 0.5 0.5 hours to 34.7 hours. The employment changed for April revised down with our great Tulsa Medical Staffing services, uh, revised down by 150,000 to negative 20 million, 687,000 jobs. So if that, if that makes sense, but one of the things that, uh, I wanted to break it down is by industry because Trinity definitely staffs in different industries. And so, um, I’m going to skip the mining and logging industry since, uh, since we, we don’t, we don’t spend very much time in that employment in construction.

Um, it says the made, uh, 2020 level, I wish that I could show you this, this graph, but it dropped significantly. Um, and then, uh, and then increased by 325,000 jobs, um, in construction and in buildings in the month of may, um, in manufacturing, manufacturing really fell in, in the city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. We are, we’re really rich in manufacturing jobs. We have a lot of different manufacturing plants, um, and there wasn’t quite the increase here. Um, construction can also mean, you know, residential construction in, I believe that with some of the stimulus packages that were sent out to Americans, there were a lot of updates that got happened on houses, and that’s a big reason for the uptick in construction, but in the manufacturing plants, um, they had 106,000 jobs added, um, which is a pretty good sign. Again, here in the staffing industry is usually the staffing firms here or see the bump first.

We’ve seen a little bit of a bump, but not, not to quite the extent that this is showing, um, retail trade also had an uptick, um, uh, transportation and warehousing. They had an uptick, but they’re, they’re just the idea behind this is jobs are starting to come back. I wonder actually if it’s going to be all at once and everyone is going to be recalled all back at once. I think once all of the negative news press, uh, stops, which never really stops, but I’m talking about the really great Tulsa Medical Staffing solutions, really negative stuff. The stuff that really gets you scratching your head and almost fearful like, Oh, we’re not going to have a police department next week. Those sorts of things, when all of these things likely I would imagine are going to work themselves out. Um, like all of the other crises have in our history because we’ve really as a nation gone through some really crazy crises, but, um, I really think they’re going to work themselves out and then there’s going to be a huge increase in hiring.

So I really want to encourage people out there hiring or out there looking to know that there is an increase that’s happening, more’s happening in the employment sector than what you might think and start looking for that great opportunity in an area.
