Actually, the A-player matchmakers where we’re always trying to find different ways to add value to job seekers and employers. And the title of this podcast is 20 hiring challenges and solutions. And this is obviously going to be for our managers. However, candidates should pay attention to the struggles that employers are having in finding candidates. Um, and it, and it’ll let you know what it’ll let you know, as a candidate, what, um, what people are experiencing, what HR problems, uh, um, HR company or not an HR company, I’m sorry, HR departments are experiencing in trying to hire people. And it will give you some insight on how you can solve some problems with our Tulsa Medical Staffing. And then it’ll all, it might even give you some negotiation, um, tips, but there are so many challenges right now in the hiring in 2020, right now, we’re in July 29th of 2020, the craziest year that I think anyone in the human resources profession has spent trying to hire people.

It employers are concerned that we don’t know if the economy is going to shut down. We were being threatened. This, it seems as though every two weeks, the media changes their, uh, you know, they, they do another big push and it’s so hard for employers to understand what is truth and what is being exaggerated because our, our media is so it’s run by, um, organizations and some of them, they just have an agenda. It’s you cannot be a reasonable, common sense person and not see that there is an agenda that is, uh, that is being portrayed when we become Tulsa Medical Staffing. The thing is, you just never know who’s playing the agenda at the time. You know, and this happens on both sides. It doesn’t matter if you, uh, you know, how you lean in your politics, and this is not a political program, but it is the truth about just trying to figure out how to plan.

So here are some things that we can talk about. It will help to create some ideas in your hiring for this next year. Trinity, we’re a staffing organization. I believe that most companies should be using a staffing firm at this point. I think that it will help them to one, see if somebody is a really good fit before they bring them on to their payroll. It, you can use them on a temporary basis and, and you can leave them on a temporary status as long as you need to. And it doesn’t force companies to commit to a permanent employee. I think it’s such a great tool to have in your tool belt when trying to increase and get back up to where you are. You know, all of our, all of our companies were before this COVID thing took off, um, 2020 looked for most companies to be like a record year for your Tulsa Medical Staffing needs.

I know in, in staffing, it really looked like it was going to be one of the best years that we were ever going to have. And then all of a sudden, the bottom dropped out of it. And, you know, just like on a roller coaster, your, your stomach felt up in your throat. You didn’t know what to do. And employers are still trying to figure this out. And like I said earlier, with a media, having an agenda in trying to figure out who’s telling the truth, you know, who’s saying the right stuff, who saying the wrong stuff, and I just can’t wait for us to get out when it comes to your Tulsa Medical Staffing services, get November out of the way, that way we can start getting some transparency out, but I spent way too long talking about that. Let’s talk about the 20 hiring challenges. First is building a strong employer brand, an overwhelming majority, 75% of job seekers consider an employer’s brand before even applying for a job according to LinkedIn.

And if they don’t like what they see, they won’t even accept your job offer, or even your interview for that matters for that matter corporate responsibility, um, the magazine found that 75% of people would not take a job with a company that had a bad reputation, or even if they were unemployed. So what should you do? Well, the first thing is, is you probably need to start looking at what is being said about your company online, um, companies like a glass door if you want the best Tulsa Medical Staffing by far. Um, indeed the one that I really pay attention to though is our Google reviews. We have five-star ratings in all of these thank goodness, which by the way, companies, it really helps if you treat people well because they are more inclined to going and getting Google reviews or Glassdoor reviews. And when they do review you and they actually say nice things and they give you a top rating.

So the number one thing that I would encourage anyone, any company too, is to begin a culture of treating the people that you work with really well. And then just asking, Hey, would you mind to give us a review? It means the world to us. Now, I want you to know that you do ask for a review. I can almost be, I can almost guarantee you that you have a 95% chance of them not ever leaving your review. So if you really want to get serious with it, I encourage you to ask them to pull out their phone right now, and then email them a link to, you know with the best Tulsa Medical Staffing, whatever page you want them to review because it’s very difficult for people to get on there. They have to be motivated. So, um, it’s a lot easier to get people to leave you a negative review.

If they have a bad experience with you in listen, Trinity’s got a lot of bad reviews for sure, but not. I want to say a lot. We don’t have very many because if you look at our Google review rating, we have over 200 reviews and we have a 4.8 or 4.9 out of five and Glassdoor. We have a five out of five and I don’t even know what our indeed score is. The last time I looked when it came to Tulsa Medical Staffing, we were at 4.5 or 4.6. I really want to go look at that again, but it’s really important for you to know the scores, but the top that obviously I’m not as interested in indeed as I am with glass store and with Google and even Yelp has that. But for staffing firms, most people don’t look at Yelp. They look at Yelp for retail type things. The second thing is that we’re talking about 20 hiring challenges is lack of qualified candidates. Listen, this is the hardest part of our period. And let me tell you why, because we have an unemployment package that gives an incredible incentive of people making, um, probably 13 to $20 an hour, a huge incentive to stay home. Absolutely. We hear all the time, especially in the industrial markets that we’ll, I can’t leave this. I’m making way more than I’ve ever made before. In my lifetime, I cannot do this.

Um, the number one hiring strategy, uh, challenge today, according to the National Federation of independent businesses has found that 87% of HR professionals reported few or no qualified applicants for positions. They were trying to fill, listen, you got to go get them guys with our Tulsa Medical Staffing services. That’s why I think a staffing agency is really important to you because we never ever, ever stop recruiting. Unfortunately, this problem is likely to get worse throughout this COVID market. According to the McKinsey Global Institute study in 2020 companies in Europe, North America will need 16 to 18 million more educated employees that are going to be available. So you’re going to have no choice, but to enter the war for talent and compete with other companies to snatch up these qualified candidates. Listen, guys, if you find somebody that you really like, it is not a good idea to wait right now. Number three, expanding candidates’ reach.

You’re going to have to look outside of the market sometime due to the lack of qualified candidates, employers who want to fill their open positions with great candidates will have to look beyond their employees, social networks, and local communities. You’re going to have to find a way to expand your candidate, reach in order to find these rare, hidden gems you’re going to have to do more than what you’ve done before in the past. It’s really important that you do that. Number four, targeting passive candidates. You’ve got to do this. According to LinkedIn’s research, 70% of the global workforce is made up of passive talent, talent. What is that? If you’re not a recruiter, if you’re a recruiter, you know what that is. If you’re not a recruiter, it is, it is people who are open to listening to new opportunities. However, they’re not actually out there looking, um, 30% are active job seekers. That’s a scary statistic. Yeah.

The good news is, is that up to 90% of these passive candidates are interested in hearing about new opportunities as also reported by LinkedIn. So these are some of the these are the top four things for you to think about. I’m going to do part two of this section because I want to try to keep our segments in 10 minutes or less.
