This is sad, but in our industry it’s rare that people put quant quality over quantity, because quantity is what makes money, but when you get the quality really great, which is what we were contemplating systems in our in our company to get quality to be great quantity. Staffing Tulsa Comes justice. Last week we’ve had I believe for new client. One of them is huge contact us to see if we would be interested in doing business with them. Listen 11 years ago. I could not have dreamed of that, because I was sitting on my kitchen table dialing for dollars trying to find something. But this is the difference that quality over quantity makes. Eventually people will begin chasing. You chick-fil-a did this a long time ago. One of my business partners is is a part of chick-fil-a and he was sitting at the table when all of chick-fil-a got around togetherand. Staffing Tulsa They had just had one of their biggest years if they had ever had, and they were sitting around trying to figure out i, don’t know what is it that we’re going to do with this money, and almost everyone on the team is about 10 people in the boardroom, the story goes and they were all saying we need to get like mcdonald’s and put one on every corner and truett cathy, which is the patriarch of chick-fil-a, slammed his fist on the table and said no, we are going to get exceptional at what we do and then everything will grow the way it needs to and bill be coming to us now back then chick-fil-a wasn’t known like it was now. In fact, it was a very little well-known restaurant and now, of course, we all know what chick-fil-a is today and that started with getting quality right. Listen, that’s what trinity is committed to. We staff in the medical field for every kind of position that you can imagine we do everything from a front office position all the way up to physicians, for hospitals and in between there are front office, receptionist, medical receptionist, medical assistance, medical billing, specialist medical collections, orange, lpns nurse practitioners, physicians assistants and then, and then physician in between there I mean. Just yesterday, we got a histotech that we were trying to recruit for finance accounting in banking side, we’re going to work with bank tellers loan originators loan processors. We are going to be staffing for all accounting, finance and banking positions that are around it. Staffing Tulsa So this is what trinity encompasses I want to talk just real quickly about hiring staff in a little bit different way, I’m going to switch around the way. Listen, it was I think it was 2 or 3 years ago, I was in an airport and I had to I was just given an airport you’re bored, and you know you have like 3 or 4 hour layover. Will they had a magazine there? That cost like $15 i? Don’t know why I bought a magazine for $15, but that day must be out of my mind, but I did and it was the harvard business review and they hadn’t the reason I bought. This was because they had an article on hiring that was in there, and this was this was long before I’d start I began to see this, but they had. They had proposed an idea that was really just bore into people at that time. At that time, when you’re going to try to recruit for someone, you were going to go, get someone with the experience only and find that person and the company that could recruit the one with the best experience and most relevant experience from the other company. That was the company that was winning, and that was really the only platform that was the way to go was to find someone with experience and bring them onto the boat and harvard had proposed. This idea in this is my point number one, and we change at trinity the way that we recruit for our internal staff at that point in time, tomato really great difference and I’ll go over. That here and second, why but the the idea that they had is basically hired the person train the skill, because the one thing in people that you cannot train is there attitude. Staffing Tulsa Sometimes you can train a skill set in almost anyone else. Keep this month like everyone’s going to have their own things, their god-given gifts, if they’re just really good at their naturally good at. We all get that. But we want to try to find the person that has just the general god-given gifting. You know if they need to be a multitasker and they handle a million things at once, will find the person with the right attitude that has those skills and then train the skill, and this is what you’ll do. Then. You can focus on developing your culture and that’s what will change your company the most in the long run? And that’s that’s what we’ve done here trinity, but so this is the first thing:listen hire someone for their attitude and consider training the skill. Of course you have to have somebody. That’s really skilled in that particular position to be able to do that. But when you do that you’re going to bring the right type of people onto your platform and, at the end of the day, the companies that do the best in life are really it boils down to this simplicity.
Staffing Tulsa Can they play well in the sandbox with the other kids? Will you if you were to line up 27 boxes around and throw a bunch of kids out there? It would be easy to start seeing the kids that play together and the kids that don’t will the companies that play together well, the companies that do well together well they’re the ones that really begin to sore and so think about this think outside the box, when you’re trying to hire and and try to find the attitude when you can and train the skill I get. Staffing Tulsa You can’t do that for an engineer or a physician or something like that, but you can for a lot of positions and I believe did it’s probably one of the most important things that you could do to consider in my experience as her career second thing think outside of the box, it’s very difficult to get to find the right attitude, and so, when you’re, when you’re looking for someone thinking outside of the box, oftentimes helps for is a great example. Today, I have an interview with a young man who used to be a general manager at a snow cone shop. Staffing Tulsa Now this general manager managed 45 snow cone shops and my good friend happens to own snow cone shop and I asked him I reset him I said:listen. Is there anyone that’s extraordinary that you know that you would recommend for me to contact and he’s like this guy right here. He said:he’s really outgrown the position here. This is my guy we’re going to hire this person, but I went out to my friends on social media and said:hey. Listen. If you know of anyone extraordinary, we would like to talk with him cuz. We got a career opportunity for him that can really make them a lot of money. This young man, if we’re, if we end up hiring him, it really will it’ll change his ball game financially, but I’ve got five or six people that barney told me how great he is and I found him at a snow cone stand. Staffing Tulsa But if I had my, if I was tunnel-visioned and didn’t think outside the box, I would really like to have missed out on this really great candidate. The last thing is:keep a database of people. The best recruiting agencies, they’re always going to have a database of people they’re going to keep people in there for years, and you can always go there and start calling people say:hey, listen! You apply for this years ago. Everything looked really great or keep a database of people that you interviewed, that you just love and you didn’t have a slot for him. That’s thinking outside of the box, because you may have interviewed someone 2 or 3 years ago, and then all the sudden, you give him a call and it’s the right time. Staffing Tulsa These are some of the strategies, strategies that oftentimes bring like you’re a player’s right there, your team, you’re, a players stay longer.
