How their money is coring Mentzer. I’m with Trinity employment specialist and we’re a staffing organization we’re located in Tulsa Oklahoma. We also staff. All over our region. We’ve got some really large accounts in Oklahoma City that we work with and we’re trying to start building some some business in Springfield Missouri. Right now I’m really. Excited about that. We are one of Tulsa’s top medical staffing companies were one of Tulsa’s top staffing companies as well. Staffing Agency Tulsa we do that by creating quality. We create quality in the way that we recruit. We create quality in the people that we tolerate. We we create quality by being very selective and by having a sit. We’ve created a system guaranteeing a player by by method of. Being able to release people until they find that right fit. And the idea behind that sounds awful at first but really you’re giving that person opportunity go be successful whenever the manager does. They can tell you I’d be a little early on if they’re going to be the right fit for your culture not. I want to go over some recruiting strategies that I think are really important. This this particular section is going to be more for your younger workers moving into the work space and I know. It seems like everyH.R. function I go to now that they still bring millennials in as a subject as a topic for subject and in general you know it started out with well let’s rip on them because we don’t like the way they do things look what’s getting ready to happen. Everything’s going to go to handheld basket. Staffing Agency Tulsa I think that I think that the message has changed because people are tired of listening to the negativity of what’s inevitable. Staffing Agency Tulsa so we can either focus on the negativity of it and oh look what’s coming to. Hey look look what’s coming let’s see what we can do with this. So I want to bring up some recruiting techniques because you’re going to want to try to recruit you know especially if you’re bringing people in from college and stuff like that you know just because they are a new generation doesn’t mean that you’re not going to want to I mean do you want to have top talent for your company in the next generation or. I mean are you planning on just shutting down you’re coming again. Keep going or what what was that movie. Get busy get busy living or get busy dying. I’m what I thought of that. That is funny. All right. So you got it. One of the things that recruiters This is mainly for staffing companies. We got to get ready for we got to get ready for repeat business from millennials. There is a lot of things that are that are circling around that there’s not be a lot of job hopping happening and so it’s going to be more and more important for you to hold on to people and train them give them opportunities for growth. I I don’t like this. I want I want people to stay with me long enough to where they can become an expert. But it doesn’t matter if I like it or not. The only thing I can do is do my best to hold onto him if I can in one of the ways that you know I’m going to do that is you know I’m going to be talking about most of it. But you want to. You want to try to learn as much as you can about the generation and training and mentorship really give them some opportunities and give them the opportunity shine. Staffing Agency Tulsa I’m not talking about everyone I’m talking about the people that really shine. You know people that really really get it you want to hold onto them. Give them a great place to work. Give them something they’re proud of and find out why. I just talked about that in last video is find a why and get them involved in your Y and that way they can they can see that they’re doing something bigger than themselves. I’m telling you I think that’s a really important thing so we every every quarter we want someone to spend a day. Out at any of the charities that they want to go to. But we have three that we would love. For them to go to. Honestly we would we would I would prefer it to be honest with you but we want to let them go wherever they want. You know God gives all different czars and things to go change and so. I want to give them up to do that. Next thing is you need to build relationships millennials before they enter the market and so continue building relationships in colleges. One of the things that I’ve noticed with larger corporations is they really slowed down their college recruiting. Staffing Agency Tulsa I. I kind of get it. You don’t want a college degree anymore. That’s what everybody used to want. Now I’ll just be honest with you. I do not care if you have college or not. I can care less because the best performing people that have come to Trinity were so grateful that I didn’t require a college degree. Then I looked at their intellect and celebrated the intellect that they had not trained them there on the job and what I wanted to do and I do it every every week I invest. Any kind of wisdom that I’ve learned. I’ll invest into our employers. I spent a lot of time with them. And I’d do my best to try to add value Tombs. I think some of the advice I have might be perfect form. Some of them might not be perfect forum but I sure try and they know it. And so. You need to do your best to try to bring in people. That.

Staffing Agency Tulsa I’m telling you the staffing firm we’ve got we had a lot of people that graduate and they graduate with a basic degree you know talking to somebody who had a really sharp kid too. And I was like well what watch what your major is like majoring in business. And I majored in business. I know what that means. Everybody has a business degree. But manikins sharp. You know I think he’s gonna be really really great for someone. But so if everyone has a degree now. Right. That’s the problem we’ve devalued the degree because everyone has one. So if we’ve devalued the group the degree well then that means that in there there are certain rising stars. Let me tell you some. Rising stars go to the dotcom job fairs. They and not everyone goes to them in college. But the people that are really excited about their career and really can’t wait to get started and have initiative. These are the kids that have initiative. And I think that it’s really important to go to some’s college jodhpurs. I think you’ll see some really great things there. One of the one of the struggles with that though I will tell you is their expectation for salary right out of the gate and college is extremely high. It’s unrealistic to what the market actually paid. So you need to be aware of that. And we love getting the college students that come in and they are like hey we want to make fifty thousand dollars a year. How much experience you have. Well I have none. But I want to start out there. And we’re like well I’m I’m really sorry but please come see us if your opinion changes and then we’ll have them come back and we can truly get them started at a reasonable rate and then they’ll get to where they want to go. But going through it the right way. You know that’s not it all the time in some of those guys you can’t get Hatum for at least try and don’t their name and the had at it but if it didn’t work out. We want to be. We would love to see them again. You know so don’t judge them too much. Remember when you were a kid and you didn’t know what you didn’t know but you got to appreciate that desire. You know. Next thing is is show what it’s like to work in your office. I talked about this earlier too. We’ve got videos online that show what it’s like to work in our office and we can be goofy and we’re serious and we show all of that and it’s very clear and easy to see that. I was telling cell in the camera earlier that you know just recently my wife posted up a video she hired some here’s where bunny rabbit ears and a belly shower and he was way overweight.
He danced around saying that song lollipop lollipop. Oh lovely lovely lovely.
And gave me some donuts and they videotaped that. Put that up and everyone in our team. It’s not that video I’m telling I think this is what it is. The one thing that I think people noticed was all of our employees how they were truly belly laughing and that. I think that you can tell by the interaction that everyone had with one another that we loved and appreciated one another. Staffing Agency Tulsa that’s very difficult to forget.
