Hi my name’s Corey Minter and I’m president of Trinity employment specialists We are staffing organization and we are centralized here in Tulsa Oklahoma. We staff for all the surrounding areas we have divisions in the medical field where we staff from everything from a front office person to a physician. That includes medical assistance. Ends Oregon’s medical billing specialist medical billing collectors X-ray techs nurse practitioners physicians assistants and then physicians. I mean it just goes all the way up the line. And then I mean I’m forgetting a lot. I mean two weeks ago we were staffing for histology tech. You know. I have to admit to you I really don’t know what that is but Harcourt’s did it. They’ve been in the in the medical field for years and so I’m talking about traits of a players. But all of these things that I’m mentioning are things that you need to consider when you’re trying to hire someone especially in small and medium sized companies medium size companies can tolerate some BEE players and still be and still be top performers in their market. Small business can’t you cannot have a B or C level player. I’m I’m convinced of it. I’m the smaller company and we have been we’re growing into a more of a medium size company and I’m just telling you having just one B and C level player on your team just crushes you. We’ve been working for years to get a team of A players. We’ve had this for several for a couple of years now and it just makes a world of difference in making sure that you have the right person on the bus as the Good To Great Books is and. And that’s such important information if you ever read the book Good to Great. You should read it. It has some really great information about who you need to bring on your team. They’re an open book. They don’t have anything to hide. They’re so confident in themselves they know who they are and they know who they’re not. And they don’t have to pretend that they’re something they’re not. You had these employees where they want you to think that there are others.

And I said oh I’m to do this. And then when you go to verify that you realize what it really is and that is their piddling around all day long. When you start getting a lot of indirect answers you need to beware. You know a players they shoot you straight. You know in a I was I was thinking about starting another company literally last night was some big time.
Players in Tulsa is the biggest thing I’ve ever been a part of. Probably. But the guy that was presenting to us presenting an idea to partner with him and there were some real I mean some players in Tulsa at this meeting Staffing Agency Tulsa.
You know this guy you’d ask him a straight question and he’d start telling your story.
You don’t ask him another straight question. No I’m trying to hone in on this. And then you get another story then you hone in on this you another story. Then eventually. A players will not tolerate that. And so my side of the table I had assembled a team of only a players. Big dogs in this town. Way bigger than me. And so when we start getting the story word done. And we walked out there we will never ever work with that person. People are going to tolerate that. Staffing Agency Tulsa. When you’re managing. Employees and you ask them a straightforward question and you get a story. Watch out.
Cause you know what that means. That’s not a good sign for you. That’s not a good sign for them.
You need to start verifying and start micromanaging when you get stories for your direct questions. So how you deal with it is you ask more and more direct questions and see how many stories they got. And then call him out on it.
And I think that’s I think that’s really important.
So a players there I can tell you story. You ask him how many calls you make today. They’re going to tell you how many how many contacts you think are possible. MAN 3 I think for.
It not and be like well man I have this. I’m just telling you. And when you’re nice. And you love people. Like. We always will. Unapologetically. It’s hard to not.

They don’t beat around the bush. Second thing. Well this is almost the same thing newish in the combined a couple of them.
Players are straight shooters they’re authentic they know who they are. They’re not going to hide from it. And when things are not going well they are comfort enough to tell you listen things are not going well for me today.
I did this and this and this happened. I’m going to make it up.
I’m going to figure out a way to get it done anyway. I’m telling you man that my mom business development person the other day she was falling behind and went over an aspirin and I said hey how’s things. How are things going today. That’s the route that is the response of an A player.
It’s not a story. It’s all those story stuff. The next thing is integrity a players have integrity. They learn the game meaning they learn their position. In the end they go play hard. And I’m not trying to spiritualised this on you and not everyone on our team is a is likely a Christian but they work as though they are for the Lord. They work as though God is watching them. And whenever I’m not around or my wife’s not around or our managers aren’t around. They’re still working. There’s an integrity thing there. They don’t stop. Our entire team is like that. Listen they’ll play hard. But when it’s time to work they know to work. And you don’t have to. Force them to do it. It’s an integrity thing. We have this our mission statement is our cup in our company is this. We have a focused intensity. Over time and you multiply it by God meaning that you’re going to do the right things over and over again show integrity and show character and all that you do. It equals an unstoppable momentum. And listen you go look at any great company that’s what they did. They had a focused intensity. They did that over a long period of time. It’s a snowball that just keeps build and once it builds it just it just rolls hard and that right there is what we’ve done at Trinity. We’ve followed this system.
The last thing a players they think ahead they always are trying to figure out what could possibly go wrong and they beat it to the punch. If this is the way I tell it to the people that I go into business with my gifting is I look for ways to kick my own butt.
How would I kick my own but if I were a competitor and I look for those things I try to solve those things way before they ever become an issue I’ll try to examine our industry and then make sure that I’m aware of possible disruptors and put things in place. These things are keys to being a player. There are things you should look for and when you find this hold on to it compensate them well and make sure they stay a part of your team and they’re rewarded.
