Hi, my name is Cory Minter and I am president of Trinity Employment Specialists. Today I want to talk just real quickly about one of the main positions that we recruit for pretty regularly.

Trinity is a staffing company that specializes in the banking industry. We specialize in staffing for positions all the way from a retail banker to a teller all the way up to mortgage lenders and VP, Vice Presidents of large banks. But today I want to talk real quickly about one of the lower level positions that we look for, but I want to change that to an entry level position into a bank. This is where most people get their start into a bank. It’s the foundation of the bank and it is a position that if you were to become a banking executive, this is a position that would be so helpful for every executive to know so that they can be able to manage it.

We are constantly looking for retail bankers and/or tellers. A retail banker is someone who operates in a teller role, but also presents the banking products to the bank’s customers. So, for example, whenever someone were to come in, if they had an unusually large sum of money that is sitting in an account not being utilized, well it would be a really advantageous thing for one of the retail bankers to present some opportunities where to let that money start working for them, and using one of the bank’s products to do that.

That is a big part of the retail banker. Tellers are — most people know what it is. When you go to the bank and you put money into the bank there are the individuals that you are typically working with to do that. And so these are positions that we are constantly recruiting for.

These are some of the things that we look for in individuals that we try to find. One of the things that puts Trinity apart from anyone else is we are committed to finding our clients only A-players. That’s all we want to do. We want to be able to find A-players for the clinic. And also on the other side we want to find the individuals that we work with, the employees, we want to find them an A-player company. We want to find the right company for them where they fit in well with the culture, and they are just able to thrive in that environment. And so we are looking at trying to make a good fit for both sides.

For our companies we really want to commit to having an A-player for you. If we are not able to find that for you, allow you to release that individual so that we can try to maybe go place them in another place where they could thrive if you recognize that they are not thriving in your organization. That’s what we do. We want to be an A-player matchmaker and that goes both sides of the coin, that’s for the employees as well. That’s really what we are trying to do.

The things that we are looking for is we are looking for individuals with a solid work history. We are keeping in mind that this is an entry level position into the bank. It’s not always 100% requirement that we find someone, especially a retail banker type of thing, that we have only banking experience in the past. Part of being a retail banker is the sales portion of it.

This is an entry level position so we are looking for individuals who, one, have a good solid working history with the bank potentially, or we are looking for individuals who have a good solid work history but they have not yet gotten into the career, but we’re looking for the potential, someone who we see a ton of potential in when we meet with them. These are the types of individuals that we are looking for here at Trinity.

The next thing is that this position for the employee is just a great opportunity to get your foot in the door and learn the foundation of a bank so that you can grow. And so it is actually a great opportunity for us. We see it as a great opportunity when we have individuals who are going to school to try to get into banking, to some extent this is just the perfect fit for we feel like. This is something that we really are going after.
