Cory: Hi, my name is Cory Minter. I’m President of Trinity Employment Specialists. Trinity is a staffing company staffs in the Oklahoma City and Tulsa market. And one of the areas that has just come to us over the last four, five years. And it’s something that we have been extremely successful in and that is staffing and doing direct hires for high level engineers.

And so I want to tell you a little bit about a position that we’re recruiting for at the moment. And give an update on what it is that it is and see if there’s anyone that might be out there is looking for this or if you happen to know of someone this- a great referral would just be wonderful with this. This is a more difficult to find position then some of our others but we have a recruiter specifically set for direct hires and this is what she works on primarily. We’ve been probably two or three that’s very similar to this, so far this year. And this is another one, it’s a mechanical design engineer.

And the type of experience they’re going to need is in shell, in tubing design. And doing shell and tube heat exchangers. We need to have someone who at least has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or at least five years of equivalent experience working in shell, tube exchangers.

A PE license is a plus but it’s not required because the primary focus is going to be on mechanical design. The company that this is for is just an exceptional company. They pay for a great, great benefit package, but I’ve worked with them over the last probably three or four years and I can tell you that just from a character standpoint, they have an exceptional reputation in town.

When we recruit for this top position, a lot of times, we’re bringing in people from out of state. And so far, over the last three or four years, we have never had anyone turn over at this place because once they get there, all of our employees love it. But one of the things that we have trained them on, is to only except A players from us and that is something they’ve committed to doing, so that’s helped us with our turnover rate there, is to making sure that the people that we send over there, are just exceptional before they agree to have them come one over to their payroll. But one of the things that we are looking for and we’re recruiting nationwide for this position. But we’re definitely trying to find something, someone with the skill sets for this position.

But the biggest thing that Trinity tries to find when recruiting nationwide, is we’re looking for character and we’re looking for someone who has a potential to be an A player. There are a lot of design engineers that are out there and just because the nature of the business, they are very much more numbers focused. But we want to try to find someone who is able to get along well in the sand with others, if you know what I mean. And work well within a team type of environment.

This is definitely a team like environment. And it’s something that’s very important to them that they get the right fit. So we’ve had at least ten people that who have the experience but we’re trying to find that right fit for this group. And we have a great understanding of their personality through looking for and we’re probably going to place this position in the next couple weeks.
