Hi, my name is Cory Minter, President of Trinity Employment Specialists. Trinity is a staffing company. We staff in both the Oklahoma City and Tulsa markets. We also have some areas right outside of Tulsa staffing that we staff for. But – a position that we are actually recruiting for right now, in our own company, is a recruiter. This is a position that is one of the most key functions to our organization- is recruiter. We need to find someone who has a good solid recruiting background. The areas that we specialize in are in of course, we have the medical field, banking, and accounting, finance and we do a lot of customer service top jobs.
Though this recruiter is not going to be responsible for any of the medical side, it’s primarily going to be on the business, finance, accounting, and customer service end of things. What we are looking for is, someone who has some kind of experience in either, managing in one of these groups, or they have been a recruiter for many years and just understand how the ball game works.
Of course, we definitely want recruiting skills. That’s a key component to what it is that we need. But one of the biggest things is, we want to make sure and protect our culture. We want to try to find someone who is extremely detailed, has a really great work ethic. We need someone who will lean in towards positivity, and push away negativity. We want to try to have somewhat as much fun as we can in our office, while at the same time working extremely hard, but this position is going to be responsible for creating ads, doing the write-ups for when we send them out to our clients Tulsa staffing.
They’re going to be also responsible for interacting professionally with our clients. This person needs to be a very professional individual. They’re going to be also working with all of the other recruiters, to try to make sure that we’re not overlapping one another. We’re trying to be also very efficient with our time and the money that, we’re spending on our ads it’s a very key component. But really we’re trying to find an A-player type mentality. This type of person; they work hard, they have fun, they are positive in nature, are very detailed. I want someone that I do not need to micromanage.
This is somebody who takes ownership of what it is that they’re doing, they feel responsible if something goes wrong with it, and take ownership of it, and try to fix it on their own. What I don’t want is, someone who comes in and every single problem that comes up comes to me because they don’t know how to fix it. They don’t have the initiative to go fix it themselves. We want to try to find that type of individual who really just goes above and beyond. This is a position that is very integral to our company. The success of this position is very integral to our company, and A-Players hang out with other A-players. We do not want to bring in B-player into our team and end up fighting that, the entire time Tulsa staffing.
